Zoe Allard

Zoe Allard is began her training at the age of two with the Lebanon School of Dance which became The Northeast Academy of Dance in 2001. She danced there for 15 years, formally training as a ballerina in Russian, Italian, and American techniques, Zoe began pointe at the age of nine and lives a life hooked on dance. She also taught with the North East Academy of Dance for 3 years.In high school, Zoe discovered a love for musical theater when he was taken on as the lead choreographer for The Windham Players, and also worked crew and performed with this group for five years. In college, at the University of Saint Joseph, Zoe was an avid member of the Dance Program, graduating with a dance minor and the title of president of the ensemble for the past two years. With this group she taught choreographed, and performed.
Zoe Began teaching for Premier Dance School in 2012 and has greatly enjoyed watching her students grow and evolve over the last 4 years. Zoe also teachers for Ballet Theater Company and coaches the Fire Steppers Drill/Dance team at Berlin High School where she is a Special Education Teacher. She has also taught for Dance Unlimited in Hamden and Branford and the Stafford Academy of Dance in Stafford, CT. She teaches Barre for Lifer Fitness Studio in West Hartford and Designed Training in Glastonbury. She serves as Secretary on the Board of The Sonia Plumb Dance Company and has performed with The Sonia Plumb Dance Company, Bianca Johnson and Company for the Woodman Dance Project, and has performed at the American College Dance Festival (ACDFA) and the Ted Hershey Dance Marathon. Zoe is currently a member of Moxie Dance Company located in West Hartford, CT and is enjoying touring with this this energetic group of dancers. .
